PNEUMATIC HIGH CURREBT CONTACT-SYSTEMS

This contact-system is characterized by an extremely strong construction method and a long-life work cycle. Furthermore it is easy to maintain and ensures a very precise contact with the carrier. Particularly with regard to the demand of transferring a high current density to light weight products on your carrier the pneumatic systems provides the best performance.

BOLT-AND PLATE-CONTACT-SYSTEMS

These contact systems developed as a good alternative to finger-contact-system over the years. The bolt contacts as well as the plate contacts are extremely strong against mechanical influence. Because of their design these contact systems can be mounted directly on the current rail.

  • basic body made from a solid cast part
  • current conduction to busbar by single contact bolts-units; each bolt is resilient installed
  • silver plated contact-bolts; on demand also available with soldered hard silver contact-plate
  • maintenance and replacement of each bolt-unit from outside the block without moving or unmounting the block
  • for conduction current up to 12000 ampere
  • current transmission through single mounted and moveable contact sword

DIRECT-CONTACT-SYSTEMS

As a result from the demand for a system which is salutary and easy to maintain ampac developed the Direct-contact-system. It is characterized by a simple design which causes a very low maintenance time.
 
Direct-contact-systems are available for conduction current up to 4000 ampere. The system is mounted directly on a copper base.
 
Here you can choose between a straight ground plate (as picture above) or a connecting angle.
